The OPA Mississauga Women's Bodybuilding Championships had a good turnout as six of the most competitive muscle athletes in the city arrived to see who had the best-muscled female body.

In third place was Betty Carroll. Second went to place Carol Hanley and first place was Lisa Roxburgh. These competitors were well prepared to compete against each other. Conditioned-wise, Hanley had a bit of an edge looking tighter in her upper body than the other two and had the best waist out of the three while Roxburgh and Carroll held their own in the back poses having excellent muscularity and definition that was at par with Hanley's. Muscularity-wise, Roxburgh simply dominated in this area having the larger build with superior delts, legs and glutes. She came back from a long hiatus from the sport and certainly did not look like she lost any of her muscle mass. Hanley would have needed to bring up her rear delts more and add a bit more muscle on her legs to give Roxburgh's body structure a tougher challenge. Carroll's height played against her as she needed more mass overall to match the more muscular build of Roxburgh's.

All in all, women's bodybuilding at Level 1 continued to show its strength in the 2009 OPA season.
